EXHUSBAND is a sound and performance project that deals with masculine ritual, social deviance, control and release.

12 hour performance at Paul McMahaon's MOTHERSHIP curated by Craig Poor Monteith in Woodstock, NY on 02.27.16. The action consisted of an installation, blocking all windows and lighting the area with red and blue lamps, arrangements of objects and sound. The action culminated with the construction of a 6' X 6' X 6' cube made of 2x3s in the center of the space and wrapped in black plastic sheeting. From inside the blacked-out cube EXHUSBAND then played a selection of music from the CD compilation PUREMOODS while giving a motivational speech. Photos by Vela Oma
